Riot Games teased the new game mode on their official twitter handle last Saturday!
Valorant is Riot Games’ latest tactical shooter game launched in the summer of 2020. It saw great success soon after its launch and has been a new choice for fans of the FPS genre. Last Saturday, Riot teased a new game mode for the game on their official twitter handle along with a 20 second short video.
The teaser begins with what looks like the breeze map with multiple smokes targeted across the map. The smoke looks much like Breach’s sky smoke, but rather than being limited at three, the teaser has over 10 smokes on the map. Player footsteps can be heard along with a silhouette passing through the smoke in the teaser, followed by Brimstone reloading a gun. The teaser end with the name-reveal of the new game mode as Replication.

Fans have mixed feelings toward the new game mode. A large number of fans dislike the game mode and have called it “cursed” based on teaser. Major worries about the game mode is that it will disturb the balanced tactical approach of the game. There is also the possibility of experiencing increased stress for certain players due to the amplification of agents’ abilities.
On the other hand, the majority of the responses from the fans reveal they are feeling excited about the new mode in VALORANT. Players also asked in the comment section of the particular tweet to focus on balancing the weapon, ranked, other issues, and bugs in the game. We will update you with more information as soon as Riot Games released it. Everyone is waiting to hop into this mode and use amplified agent abilities.
