Dota 2’s the International is finally here! With the venue being finally switched to Romania, everyone is ready for the International 10. No delays or venue changes can keep fans away from the biggest Dota 2 event after a year of hiatus!

In late June, the International 10 encountered some trouble with the Swedish Sports Federation when they ruled against accepting eSports into the federation. This meant international players couldn’t travel to Sweden for the event.

The event was however, quickly moved from Stockholm, Sweden and is now taking place in Bucharest, Romania. The event will be held in Arena Nationala in Bucharest from 7th to the 17th of October 2021

After the venue and dates had been fixed, the final line-up for the International 10 was also released with 12 teams receiving direct invite and 6 qualifying through regional qualifiers. The full line-up for the International 10 are as follows:

The qualifier acts as one last chance for teams to try and make it to TI every year. And for four of the six teams, their qualifier run saved their seasons.

Team Spirit and Fnatic both made appearances at one Major each during the regular season and showed that they were capable of making it to the international stage.

OG and Elephant were two teams that had high expectations heading into the 2021 DPC with OG being the back-to-back defending TI champs and Elephant putting together a super team during a massive roster shakeup that defined a majority of the Chinese teams for the season. Neither team made it to a Major and barely made it out of the qualifiers after being one series away from elimination.
