PUBG Mobile to Returns to India as Battlegrounds Mobile India!

The battle royale game was one of the most played mobile games in the country before its ban.
The news of the return of PUBG Mobile back to India created an overhauling hype in the Indian gaming industry. However, the return of the game would also include a different name to the game. During the logo release of the game, KRAFTON announced that PUBG Mobile has been rebranded as ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’. The developers expect to deliver an amazing mobile multiplayer gaming experience without compromising the privacy and data security of the users.
Since its ban in last September, PUBG Mobile fans have been eagerly waiting for such a return of the game. Post the announcement, Twitter has been flooded with #battlegroundsmobileindia tweets which clearly showcases how excited and happy the PUBG Mobile India fans are.
The teaser of the title was also released on the official YouTube channel. It did not reveal much, and players could only see the “COMING SOON” message displayed in the 10-second clip.
KRAFTON also announced that the game will be first available for pre-registration and the company will also collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly; starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch.
Experts claim that the game, is expected to further boost the growing esports space in India benefitting multiple stakeholders, including gamers, esports platforms as well as content creators.
Apart from gamers, Battleground Mobile India is also expected to boost content creator’s community associated with online gaming space. Content creators in the gaming space bring fans quality content to keep them entertained, informed, or educated about esports and various tournament related developments.
